Side Guards On Snow Plows

Jeannette Holman-Price is asking that the Transportation Association of Canada to include side guards on trucks and snow plows just like the city of St. John’s. Jeannette has been an advocate for side guards since 2005 when her daughter Jessica was struck and killed by a snow removal truck.

The Transportation Association has opposed the idea thus far amd she does not understand why. They are proven to save lives. Her conclusion is that big transportation is big money and is no different than tabacco companies.
