Protect Vulnerable Road Users with People Panels Side Guards for Trucks
Walker Blocker believes that the Panel System is the best way to go for side guards. Panels are recommended by the Volpe Center for side guards to prevent side underride collisions from becoming deadly. Panels prevent a handle bar, arm or other part of the body from being stuck. In Enfield London and a company is using the panel system and have a great video to show the best practice in action.
Enfield Council has become the first local authority in the United Kingdom to fit new purpose built safety devices to its vehicles to help prevent fatal collisions with cyclists, pedestrians and motorcyclists.
